What Families Are Saying
“ In August, 2014, one of my mother’s legs gave out. At the time, she was living with me. We had a CNA come to our house every morning to help her get washed and dressed. We couldn't get my mother to stand up that day or the next, so I decided to call rescue. After being observed at the hospital for a couple of days, the doctor suggested she needed rehab. I decided on Grace Barker because I had heard a lot about the rehab department and the staff. We thought it would only be a 3-week stay at Grace Barker, but after weeks of trying, we had to face the fact that she was not going to improve or come home. The PT staff never gave up on her. It was hard to face this reality, but it was meant to be that we had decided way back then to come here. It's been over 3 years, and I've never regretted choosing this facility. Not only is Grace Barker's location centrally located for our family and friends, the staff and residents have become our extended family and friends. Management at Grace Barker doesn’t keep people on staff that do not truly love helping its residents.”
