COVID-19 Update: Visitation Update

Dear Families of Residents at The Cove and The Willows:

It is such a pleasure to reunite our residents with their loved ones in person! Seeing the joy this brings to their faces and how they ‘light up’ during their visit  makes us so grateful to offer the opportunity to you and yours.

We would like to clarify a few very important points related to our new visitation protocols, as follows:
  • The maximum length of time any scheduled visit can take place per resident is limited to 15 minutes at The Cove, and 20 minutes at The Willows. For example, a resident at The Cove cannot have four separate 15-minute time slots scheduled for a total of one hour. It’s 15 minutes per resident, not per visitor.
  • Our staff will reach out proactively to schedule visits with the resident’s Responsible Party only, not vice versa. Appointment times will be determined by our interdisciplinary scheduling team made up of staff from nursing, activities, social services, and administration departments. Their decision will be based on the health status of the resident. Please do not call or email us to schedule a visit, we will not get back to you. Please wait for our staff to contact the Responsible Party on file for your loved one.
  • Kindly refrain from bringing food, beverages, gifts and pets which are not allowed into the building at this time.
As always, if you are not feeling well, have a compromised immune system, or have had any risk of coronavirus exposure, you should not visit. Thank you for your patience, understanding and strict adherence to our new rules for visitation.

Sincerely,
The Lescault Family
