Grace Barker Takes First Prize in Lip Sync Battle of the Nursing Homes

Grace Barker took first prize at the 2017 Lip Sync Battle held recently at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston, RI.  The annual event raises money for a newly created fund called “TLC 4 LTC” to help long-term care residents and staff throughout the state who have special wishes and needs.

The winning Grace Barker performance group was made up of Administrators Mark and Mary Beth Lescault and staff who donned Havana-style costumes and lip synched to Barry Manilow’s 1978 disco hit, “Copacabana.”  A special command performance was held post-event at The Cove, much to the delight of residents.
