Happy Thanksgiving: November 26,2020

Dear Residents, Families and Friends of Grace Barker Health:

Thanksgiving is a time to express sincere gratitude to others, and to give thanks. Here is a special letter to acknowledge the many people we are grateful for this holiday:

To our residents who continue to endure the pandemic and to those who have passed from this earth, we are grateful for you being in our lives. You are the reason we exist, you are our extended family, you are our life’s work, and you are forever in our hearts.

To our staff  who bravely come to work each day to care for our residents with great compassion and skill, you are the true heroes who inspire us to make it through, and we cannot thank you enough from the bottom of our hearts.

To the families of our residents who have sent words of encouragement, accepted our necessary restrictions with grace and understanding, and complied with our protocols to keep your loved ones safe, we are deeply grateful and appreciate the many sacrifices you have made.

To the families of our staff who supported their loved one who works at The Cove or The Willows, altered their home routines to accommodate extra shifts, and did everything possible to slow community spread of the virus, we appreciate you.

To our family and friends who have lent a shoulder to lean on or a listening ear, and who are ‘there’ for us in so many ways, thank you for your continued love, friendship and patience.

And

To our health leaders and vendors who have been with us every step of the way, thank you for your guidance, effort and professionalism.

Wishing you and yours a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,
The Lescault Family
