“What goes on here at Grace Barker is personal. The staff treats the patients as though they were their own parents and grandparents. If somebody needs something, they get it. Even if they don't realize they need something, they're getting it. Management walks the corridors just like the CNAs, housekeeping, activities and others do. When you deal with a facility that is part of a chain, things don't work out that way. There is no feeling of Small Town, USA. I go there every day, and always see Mary Beth around. She may not always be in her office though, because lots of times she's chatting with a resident, reassuring a family member, picking up a food tray, dancing in the activity room or something else that is called for at that given moment. ”
